With thousands of chemical pesticides used across the world that cause damage to crops – not to mention the harmful toxicity to people and the enviornment – our team consistently works with new commercial partners to exactingly field-test our biological plant-agnostic solutions to ensure the high-efficacy as an alternative to chemical pesticides.

Detoxifying Pyrite in Soil

The acidification of soil from the oxidation of pyrite is harmful to crop health, especially around mining areas. High concentrations of pyrite decreases a plant’s nutrient solubility creating an adverse environmental condition for growth. Our team is researching new solutions to control the oxidation of pyrite in soil to increase crop resistance and tolerance to the mineral.

Improving Plant Growth in High Salinity

The adverse abiotic affects of salinity on plant health is estimated at a crop loss at US $11 billion a year. Addressing plant growth in high salinity water is an issue affecting farms across the world, especially with crops that are grown near coastal or pastoral areas.
